Can braided rugs be used outdoors for decks and patios?
Braided rugs that are made using polypropylene or Sunbrella acrylic yarn are a great choice for outdoor use as they can better withstand weather conditions and are more durable with heavy exposure to sun and also damp locations. These materials are highly stain and fade resistant as well as mold and mildew resistant, making them some of the most desirable braided rug types for general outdoor use.

What is a stair tread?
A stair tread is a horizontal covering for a set of stairs in order to improve traction. These could be made from a variety of materials, such as wood, carpeting, or rubber. Colonial Mills braided stair treads are constructed with the same quality and process that you would find with any of our other products using high-quality polypropylene, wool and chenille yarns. Along with providing safety and traction, they also add texture and style to the stairs. A stair tread installation kit is available for purchase to easily install braided stair treads to the steps.
